Justin L. Kelsey, Esq. Justin L. Kelsey has been a practicing attorney since 2004.  He is a Partner at Kelsey & Trask, P.C., of Natick, Massachusetts. Justin is the co-author of Scaling the Summit: A Family Law Blog and Don't Go Alone: A Bankruptcy Law Blog.

A resident of Natick, Justin's experience has provided him with all of the tools necessary to well serve the Clients of Kelsey & Trask, P.C. in a number of areas of the law.  Today, Justin concentrates on divorce mediation and representation, bankruptcy, paternity, 209A, and modification cases.  

Justin graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (B.S. 2001) and Boston University School of Law (J.D. 2004). While attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Justin met Matthew P. Trask. They became friends and stayed in contact throughout their separate law school experiences.

Justin was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in December 2004 and is also a member of the Bar of the Federal District Court for Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

In July 2008, when Matthew decided to relocate to Massachusetts, Justin decided to leave his employment with Stevenson & Lynch, P.C. to open a new firm, Kelsey & Trask, P.C., with Matthew in Natick, Massachusetts.  Justin continues his relationship with Stevenson & Lynch, P.C. of counsel.

Justin is a member of the Board of Directors of The Divorce Center and also currently serves as the Chair of their Marketing Committee. The Divorce Center is a non-profit organization whose members are lawyers, financial planners, mediators, vocational experts, and therapists, all of whom counsel divorcing spouses. Justin's work with The Divorce Center includes providing education to the public about how the process of divorce works in Massachusetts and interacting with professionals in other fields that can assist clients with the many issues one faces when going through a divorce.

Matthew P. Trask, Esq. Admitted in MA and NY
Matthew P. Trask, Esq.Matthew P. Trask, Esq. is an attorney admitted to the Massachusetts and New York bars and is a founding member of Kelsey & Trask, P.C.  He is a Partner at Kelsey & Trask, P.C. A native of Massachusetts, Matthew grew up in Mashpee on Cape Cod.  Matthew is the co-author of Scaling the Summit: A Family Law Blog and Don't Go Alone: A Bankruptcy Law Blog.

With Kelsey & Trask, P.C., Matthew practices primarily in the area of business and civil litigation, and also handles cases involving family law, divorce, paternity, spousal support, personal injury, bankruptcy and debt collection, and conflict resolution both through the courts and through settlement. Prior to forming Kelsey & Trask, P.C., Matthew was an associate at the Law Offices of Leslie Elliott Krause, LLP in New York City and practiced plaintiff's personal injury law in automobile negligence, products liability, slip and fall and construction accident cases.

Prior to his admission to the bar, Matthew served 8 years in the United States Marine Corps, including service in Operation Enduring Freedom following the events of September 11, 2001. During his military service, Matthew received multiple awards, including two awards of the Navy and the Marine Corps Achievement Medal, for actions and operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Matthew graduated from Westfield State College (B.S. 2002) and Pace University School of Law (J.D. 2006). Matthew was admitted as a member of the New York State Bar in May of 2007 and as a member of the Massachusetts Bar in December of 2008.  Matthew is also admitted to the United States District Court - Southern District of New York, and the District of Massachusetts.

Today, Matthew combines his Marine Corps and legal experiences to provide strategic solutions and forceful advocacy to clients through careful planning, analysis, and attention to detail.
